APT Worldwide to Rep Circus Dreams

BOSTON: APT Worldwide has secured the international rights to the 80-minute documentary Circus Dreams, produced by Signe Taylor.

Circus Dreams features a group of 12-to-18-year-olds who came from around the world to be coached by professionals from Cirque du Soleil and the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. The documentary takes viewers through the audition process, an intense three-week rehearsal period and the 70-performance tour of the teens who perform with the traveling youth circus Circus Smirkus.

Circus Dreams won the Youth Jury Citation at SPROCKETS Toronto International Film Festival 2011, Best Films4Families Award at the Seattle International Film Festival, Audience Choice for Best Feature Documentary at the Woods Hole Film Festival and an Indie Spec Special Recognition Award at the Boston International Film Festival, among other awards.
