APT Worldwide Takes On Oregon Public Broadcasting Fare

BOSTON, March 22: APT Worldwide
has secured the international representation rights to selected current and
upcoming titles from Oregon Public Broadcasting's (OPB) factual programming
catalog, including The New Heroes, a
series hosted by Robert Redford.

The New Heroes is a 4×60-minute series hosted by Robert Redford that profiles social
entrepreneurs around the world. APT also took on six other current OPB titles:
the 60-minute documentary Window to the Sea, a high-definition behind-the-scenes look at four
state-of-the-art aquariums; Children's Hospital, a 6×1-hour series that captures the emotional, real
life stories of staff, parents and patients at a renowned pediatric hospital; Electric
Money
, a 3×1-hour series that examines how
information technology has radically transformed the way people save, spend and
think about money; The Sixties: The Years that Shaped a Generation and 1968: The Year that Shaped a
Generation
, two two-hour documentaries that
revisit a turbulent time of worldwide political and social upheaval; and The
Bay of Pigs
, a special that examines both
the tactical and ethical questions surrounding the attempted invasion of Cuba.
