APT to Distribute Two Royal-Themed Docs

BOSTON: American Public Television (APT) has added William and Kate the Royal Wedding and Edward & Wallis: A Story of Love and Destiny, both produced by HTI Limited, to its more than 300 titles available to U.S. public TV stations.

The 1×45-minute documentary William and Kate the Royal Wedding follows the story of Prince William and Kate Middleton, and the public speculation and media coverage of their wedding. The program has been available since April 1 and is already scheduled to air in 44 markets across the U.S.
 
Meanwhile, the 1×52-minute documentary Edward & Wallis: A Story of Love and Destiny tells of the scandal and controversy surrounding Prince Edward VIII’s relationship with his American mistress, Wallis Simpson. The program was also released by APT on April 1.
