APT Releases Eco-Friendly Lifestyle and Cooking Programs

BOSTON, February 26: American Public Television (APT) has released two “green”-focused programs—the lifestyle series Cultivating Life and the dining series The Endless Feast—for broadcast on public television stations across the U.S.

Cultivating Life is currently airing on public television stations nationwide and on the 24/7 digital channel Create TV. Hosted by Sean Conway, the series offers modern and eco-friendly easy-to-do projects and ideas for outdoor living, cooking, gardening and entertaining. Cultivating Life also reveals inspiring stories of those who have changed the world in subtle ways, ranging from gardeners who hunt and preserve heirloom flowers and vegetables to contractors who protect 200-year-old barns and chefs who specialize in using locally grown produce.

The Endless Feast, which will air on public television stations beginning this May, is an “extreme-dining” series hosted by celebrated culinary experts. It also features esteemed chefs such as John Gorham, Ben Dyer, Scott Dolich, Remi Lauvan and Gail Hobbs, who create menus comprised of regional organic specialties. Food producers and chefs gather to discuss their relationship with the food and feast together outdoors in farm fields, vineyards and urban gardens.
