Apple Sets Multiyear Pact with A24

A24, the outfit behind Oscar winner Moonlight, will produce multiple feature films for Apple as part of a multiyear agreement.

The films will be made available on Apple’s upcoming streaming service. This is the latest in a string of high-profile original content agreements for Apple, including Are You Sleeping, produced by Reese Witherspoon’s production company Hello Sunshine; a straight-to-series order for a new drama from Oscar-winning filmmaker Damien Chazelle (La La Land); and a basketball-themed drama series from NBA star Kevin Durant’s Thirty Five Media and Brian Grazer and Ron Howard’s Imagine Television.
