The Americans, The Kominsky Method Score Golden Globes

At last night’s Golden Globes, The Americans took the win for best TV drama, while The Kominsky Method won in the TV comedy arena.

In the performance categories for television, Richard Madden scored a best actor win for drama series for Bodyguard and Sandra Oh won for best actress in a drama series for Killing Eve. The Kominsky Method‘s Michael Douglas and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel‘s Rachel Brosnahan took home Globes for their comedic performances.

The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story won for best TV movie or limited series, and star Darren Criss was honored on the performance side. Patricia Arquette got a nod for Escape at Dannemora in the category as well. Supporting wins went to Ben Whishaw for A Very English Scandal and Patricia Clarkson for Sharp Objects.

In the motion picture arena, Bohemian Rhapsody was named best drama and Green Book best comedy or musical. Best performance wins for drama went to Rami Malek for Bohemian Rhapsody and Glenn Close for The Wife. For comedy or musical, the performance wins went to Christian Bale for Vice and Olivia Colman for The Favourite.
