AmericanLife TV Networks Makes Darfur Doc Available for Distribution

WASHINGTON, March 19: AmericanLife TV Networks, the only
independent network devoted to the U.S. “Baby Boomer” generation, is making its
documentary, A Journey to Darfur,
available for international distribution, with a deal already closed with
France 2.

The documentary premiered on AmericanLife TV in January. It
is produced by reporter Nick Clooney, who traveled to the Sudan border with his
son, actor George Clooney, last year. It features emotional interviews with the
genocide-ravaged refugees of Darfur that are conducted by the father and son
duo, as well as an exclusive interview with George Clooney.

A Journey to Darfur
is offered non-exclusively for free to non-commercial outlets, and also to
commercial broadcasters who donate 90 percent of the program’s ad revenue to
the “Save Darfur” coalition at www.savedarfur.org.

“Following A Journey to Darfur’s debut in the U.S., we received a number of inquiries
from broadcasters throughout the world seeking to air the documentary,” said
Mark Ringwald, the VP of programming for AmericanLife TV. “Our only goal is to
make audiences worldwide aware of this international tragedy.”
