Amazing Race Debuts to High Ratings in Singapore

SINGAPORE, November 15: The Amazing Race Asia, which premiered on AXN on November 9, was the highest-rated show on the
country’s international cable channels, dominating its timeslot with 54 percent
of the viewers.

"It has been a nine-month-long gestation
process," says Ricky Ow, the general manager of SPE Networks – Asia,
which owns AXN. "It is heartening to see all our hard work come to
fruition. I am delighted that The Amazing Race Asia has been received with so much enthusiasm and
anticipation. Audiences can expect a lot more in episodes to come.”

AXN,
which is part of Sony Pictures Television International’s portfolio of
networks, caters to the 18-34 demographic and is seen in 50 countries across in
Asia, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East. It is available to more than
76 million households throughout Asia.
