Alexander Coridass Renews Contract with ZDF Enterprises

MAINZ: Alexander Coridass, the president and CEO of ZDF Enterprises, has renewed his employment contract, and will continue to head ZDF’s commercial subsidiary for another five years.

Coridass has been president and CEO of the company since 1998. He began working at ZDF in 1985 as a legal expert for copyright and international law. In 1991 he was named head of the foreign sales department at ZDF. When ZDF Enterprises was formed in 1993, he became the head of sales, later becoming president and CEO.

“Under the leadership of Alexander Coridass, ZDF Enterprises has become one of the leading players on the global TV market and is extremely well prepared for the challenges of the digital world,” said Markus Schächter, ZDF’s director-general. “Coridass is one of the most highly profiled German media managers at the national and international levels,” added Schächter.

Coridass added: “I am very pleased with the trust placed in me by the shareholders and am very confident that we will continue writing the success story of ZDF Enterprises in the coming years along with my co-CEO Stephan Adrian and our team.”
