Al Jazeera English Content to Be Featured on Pulse

DOHA/PALO ALTO: Pulse, the news-reading app for Apple, Android and other tablet devices, has secured a content partnership with Al Jazeera to deliver video and news from the Al Jazeera English catalogue.

Pulse will bring to its more than 5 million users content from Al Jazeera English that includes Al Jazeera Front Page; Al Jazeera Video, featuring in-app video for every story; Al Jazeera global news, including Al Jazeera Americas, Asia-Pacific, Central and South Asia, Europe and the Middle East; Al Jazeera Sports; and Al Jazeera Business.

Pulse has more than 150 content partners already, including AOL, CNN, NBC News via msnbc.com, TIME and others. The deal with Al Jazeera marks its first international partner. The Al Jazeera English network boasts more than 70 bureaus across the world.
