Al Gore to Deliver Keynote at PromaxBDA

LOS ANGELES: The keynote address at the 2011 PromaxBDA conference, taking place June 28 to 30 in New York City, will be delivered by Al Gore, former U.S. VP and chairman and co-founder of Current Media.

Gore founded Current Media with Joel Hyatt in 2005. The TV and online network has grown its distribution to reach 75 million cable and satellite households worldwide. Gore is also the chairman of the Alliance for Climate Protection. He is a member of the board of directors of Apple, a senior advisor to Google, a partner in the venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and is a visiting professor at Middle Tennessee State University. He is also the author of the bestsellers Earth in Balance, An Inconvenient Truth, Our Choice: A Plan to Solve the Climate Crisis and is the subject of an Oscar-winning documentary.
