AETN Names New Ad Sales VP

NEW YORK/LONDON, December 11: AETN International has
appointed Mark Taylor as its VP of international ad sales, based in London.

Taylor will be charged with developing international
ad-sales strategies for AETN channels, including The History Channel, The
History Channel HD, A&E, The Biography Channel and Crime &
Investigation Network. He is responsible for driving local ad sales in Europe,
Latin America and Asia, as well as cultivating pan-regional and global ad-sales
activity for AETN’s channels outside the U.S. Furthermore, Taylor will be
responsible for developing sponsorship opportunities for the company’s
international digital-media assets, including websites, broadband players, WAP
portals and VOD services. He will report to Sean Cohan, the senior VP of
international for AETN.

Taylor comes to AETN from Main Door Ltd. Consultancy, which
he founded in 2005. His clients there included BBC, MTV in London, Stockholm
and Berlin and Setanta Sports. Previously, Taylor served as the VP and director
of sales for Hallmark Channel in the U.K., Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
