A+E Networks to Offer Lifetime Movies in Cannes

NEW YORK: A+E Networks is set to bring five new original Lifetime features to MIPCOM, including Hunt for the I-5 Killer.

Features highlighted include Hunt for the I-5 Killer, starring John Corbett (United States of Tara) and Sara Canning (Vampire Diaries), which follows a year-long manhunt for the 1981 killer who raped and murdered 44 victims along the I-5 highway corridor. It is produced by Jaffe/Braunstein for Lifetime Television. It has been sold to VTM in Belgium, TF1 in France, Nitro in Spain and Neox in Spain.

Also available is Iris Johansen’s The Killing Game, based on the bestselling thriller novel. It stars Laura Prepon (That ’70s Show), Ty Olsson (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn) and Naomi Judd and is about bringing a murderer to justice. It is produced by Anne Carlucci Productions for Lifetime Television and has been sold to VTM, TF1, Nitro and Neox. We Have Your Husband is about a kidnapping, and is produced by Johnson Production Group for Lifetime Television. It has been licensed to VTM, TF1, Nitro, Neox and RTL in the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

The Pastor’s Wife, starring Rose McGowan (Charmed), Michael Shanks (Red Riding Hood) and Eric Keenleyside (The Interpreter, Hellcats), is based on the real-life story of a beloved minister who was murdered in his Selmer, Tennessee home in 2006, while his wife and young daughters went missing. It is produced by Cypress Point Productions for Lifetime Television and was licensed to TF1.

The Bling Ring is about a high school crime ring that steals from the rich and famous. It is produced by Dick Clark Productions for Lifetime Movie Network and has been picked up by VTM, TF1, Nitro and Neox.
