A+E Networks Lines Up 500-Plus Hours of New Content

NEW YORK: A+E Networks is making its way to MIPCOM with more than 500 new hours, including mega-docs, real-life series, original movies and more.

Leading off the slate is the new Lifetime original movie Baby Sellers, which stars Kirstie Alley, and Big History, a new doc series co-produced by Bill Gates' Big History Project.

Among the new real-life series on offer are Modern Dads, which follows a diverse group of stay-at-home fathers; The Legend of Shelby the Swamp Man, featuring Shelby Stanga of Ax Men; and Double Divas, set in an Atlanta lingerie boutique.

There are also returning hits such as Duck Dynasty, which is the number one nonfiction series in U.S. cable, and a new season of Ice Road Truckers.
