NATPE Announces Tartikoff Legacy Award Winners

LOS ANGELES: Emilio Azcárraga Jean, James L. Brooks, Jon Feltheimer and Lauren Zalaznick have been selected to receive this year's Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Awards during the NATPE 2014 Market & Conference in Miami.

Azcárraga Jean is the president, CEO and chairman of the board of directors of Grupo Televisa. Brooks helped bring to life the smash hit The Simpsons, a worldwide cultural phenomenon that is about to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Feltheimer is the CEO of Lionsgate, responsible for tens of thousands of hours of television programming and hundreds of films, including the global blockbuster Hunger Games franchise and series such as Mad Men, Weeds and Orange Is the New Black. Zalaznick is executive VP of media innovation and cross-company initiatives at NBCUniversal, responsible for accelerating the company’s growth and for identifying and executing new business opportunities.

These four will receive their awards on Tuesday, January 28 at a reception at NATPE. It marks the 11th annual Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Awards, named in honor of Brandon Tartikoff, one of television’s greatest programmers.
