Adness Takes Rights to Mexican Kids’ and Teen Franchise

LOS ANGELES, October 5: Adness Entertainment has acquired
the North American and Asian licensing rights to the new offbeat kids and teen
brand Crack & Bonky.

The Mexican-originated brand already has a host of licensing
partners in Latin America, including Chicabum, for mobile content in Mexico and
Latin America; Office Max for customized stationery; DTM for toys/figures;
Chenson for backpacks and bags; Bondifiesta for bubble gum and confectionery;
Majtán for gel stickers and decorations; Bonsa for gifts, office supplies and
accessories; PTI (K.com) for cellular accessories; MAE for gifts and office
supplies; and Editorial Radar for children’s magazines.

Crack & Bonky follows
the adventures of two friends from another dimension called Limbo. Crack
learned how to travel through inter-dimensional doors to visit our world, but
accidentally hit his head and now he doesn’t remember how to get back home.
Bonky tries hitting Crack on the head in an effort to rid him of his amnesia,
though he is unsure if this is working.

Yasuo Matsuo, the CEO of Adness Entertainment, noted: “This
innovative and outrageous entertainment property is already gaining attention
across Latin American markets, and we are excited to join in handling the
important area of merchandise licensing for this growing franchise.”
