Nat Geo Launches on Premiere

MUNICH: Adding to the roster of factual-entertainment offerings available on pay-TV platform Premiere in Germany, National Geographic Channel launches with its mix of series and documentaries in the Premiere Familie package. 

Upcoming programming highlights on National Geographic Channel include Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ocean Adventures, Salvage Code Red, Inside Guantanamo and My Music Brain, a program featuring insights from Grammy Award-winning musician Sting. The package Premiere Familie presents 16 theme channels and seven digital radio stations. The package is distributed via cable, satellite and IPTV, and is available to almost all households in Germany and Austria. National Geographic Channel is now available in more than 3 million homes in Germany, and globally in more than 310 million homes in 165 countries and 34 languages.
