Absolutely Independent Notches Up Scandinavian Agreements

AMSTERDAM,
October 27: Format agency Absolutely Independent has scored a number of deals
through its Scandinavian office on titles such as Battle of the Choirs and Lost
Without a Trace
.

Lost Without a Trace, an original Dutch
format from KRO, aired successfully in Australia, Denmark and Germany, and will
soon be aired in all Scandinavian countries. The new format Challenge Me! has
already been sold into nine territories in the last few months.

Nation’s Best, The Phone and Small Talk were
sold to Poland, while Battle of the
Choirs
was picked up by a majority of the countries covered by Absolutely
Scandinavia.

Sarah Jelvefors,
the managing director of Absolutely Independent Scandinavia, said: “I am very
happy that the Scandinavian countries and the Baltics
love our formats. I trust we will place even more formats here in the very near
future. Absolutely Independent is conquering the Nordics!”

Patty Geneste,
the CEO and president of Absolutely Independent, added: “The Scandinavian
