Towers to Produce Nat Geo Special on War in Iraq

CHICAGO, June 27: Towers Productions will produce a one-hour
documentary special for the National Geographic Channel entitled Road to War, about the origins of the war in Iraq, for broadcast
in the U.S. in late August.

Towers will also handle the distribution of the program, for
which it retains the international television rights. Road to War is a first-hand account of the events leading up to
the invasion of Iraq, tracing the path to the Iraq war in the immediate
aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. There is a particular focus on
President Bush and the nature of his decision-making, with an assessment of how
the 9/11 attacks galvanized the Bush presidency, and led to a transformation of
American foreign policy. The program is also built around interviews with a
number of high-ranking officials, revealing intimate details from classified
meetings to public speeches.

Other factual programming that TPI has made available for
the international television market are: The Final Report (National Geographic Channel), Storm
Stories
(The Weather Channel), Sports
Action Team
(NBC) and After
Saddam
and The Case Against
Saddam
(Discovery Networks).
