Cookie Jar Highlights Animated Fare

BURBANK/TORONTO, October 1: Two original animated adventure
series top Cookie Jar Entertainment’s catalogue for MIPCOM, as well as a
Christmas special featuring the voice of William Shatner.

Metajets is focused
on a crew of young flying aces, competing on the Aeronautical Racing Circuit
while secretly waging a high-stakes battle for air supremacy. The 2-D/CGI
40×30-minute show, co-produced with Sunwoo, is set for a Canadian launch on
TELETOON next year.

Noonbory & The Super 7, a Cookie Jar and Daewon Media co-production, follows the Toobalooba,
a group of energetic “Borys” who use their heightened senses, imagination and
teamwork to solve everyday problems. The 26×30-minute series will air in Canada
on BBC Kids, Knowledge, Access Television and SCN.

Gotta Catch Santa Claus
features Shatner as the voice of Santa, who is being pursued by a dim-witted
ice monster in this CGI holiday film for TELETOON. With the help of his best
friend, a 12-year-old named Trevor goes on a mission to prove Santa’s
existence, and save him from harm.

Cookie Jar will also offer international buyers new episodes
of Horseland, Sushi Pack, Dino Squad and the Richard Scarry-inspired Hurray For Huckle!
