NEW YORK: In its Upfront presentation, ABC Family unveiled its summer schedule, along with planned fall/winter premieres, which includes new original series, more episodes of returning hits and theatrical acquisitions.

Make It or Break It is a one-hour scripted drama that follows a group of teen Olympic hopefuls as they train and prepare for their day in the spotlight. The series premieres June 22 at 9 p.m. On July 7 at 8 p.m., the half-hour, single-camera series 10 Things I Hate About You will make its debut. Inspired by the hit movie of the same name, the series follows two very different sisters as they try to find happiness at a new high school. Ruby & the Rockits is an ABC Studios half-hour multi-camera comedy, debuting on July 21 at 8:30 p.m. The show follows a former teen idol who is living peacefully with his family until his old band mates and brother show up, and he takes on the task of raising a teenager.

In the way of returning series, The Secret Life of the American Teenager will launch its second season on June 22 at 8 p.m., while Lincoln Heights heads into season four on August 4 at 9 p.m. A third season of Greek kicks off September 14 at 8 p.m.

Warner Bros. Pictures’ Academy Award-winning Happy Feet will make its basic cable premiere on ABC Family in June, while the network will also present a range of original movies. Labor Pains, starring Lindsay Lohan as an assistant at a publishing company who pretends to be pregnant in order to avoid being fired by her boss, will air July 19.

The network’s new summer programming event Campus Crush takes place from August 1 to 10, and features the latest installment in the Legally Blonde franchise, Legally Blondes, premiering on August 2. The original holiday movie Santa Baby 2 will premiere in December during ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas programming event. Other holiday fare includes Rudolph’s Shiny New Year, Frosty’s Winter Wonderland and Santa Claus is Comin to Town. ABC Family will also present the basic cable premieres of Disney PIXAR’s Ratatouille and Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause. The channel will also feature 16 days of holiday programming with the Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas event.
