ABC Australia Takes ITV Global Entertainment Titles

SYDNEY,
December 9: ITV Global Entertainment's Granada International Australia has sold
a raft of drama series to national broadcaster ABC, which also took more than
80 hours of factual fare.

Among
the titles included in the extensive deal are new seasons of Agatha Christie's Poirot starring David Suchet and Marple with Julia McKenzie, both for
ABC1. ABC2, meanwhile, will air the factual series Extreme Rescue, Coach Trip
and Zoo Days. ABC Kids Australia
opted for the new CGI series The Pinky
& Perky Show.
