E4 Takes Fireworks’ Heartland

LONDON: Fireworks International has sold its the drama series Heartland to British entertainment channel E4, with additional showings available 30 days after broadcast on Channel 4’s on-demand catch-up service, 4oD.

Heartland, set against the Alberta Rocky Mountains, is a family drama that follows the highs and lows of two sisters and their grandfather living on a horse ranch. The series is produced by SEVEN24 Films and Dynamo Films, and was adapted from Lauren Brooke’s bestselling novels, which have sold more than 6.5 million copies worldwide.
