New Telenovelas, Series on Offer from Televisa

MEXICO CITY, January 7:
Among Televisa International's catalogue for NATPE are series such as Killer
Women
and Terminals, along with telenovelas like Tomorrow is
Forever
and In the Name of Love.

The 13×1-hour Killer Women is inspired by real-life cases of women who
committed crimes, many of them motivated by unrequited love, exacerbated
jealousy and temporary madness. In the drama series Terminals, a 23-year-old enthusiastic reporter is diagnosed
with an advanced case of leukemia and receives a three-months-to-live
prognosis. SOS II (Sex and Other Secrets) features five women with very different views on life but who share a
deep bond of friendship. The animated series El Chavo, now in its third season, follows a lovable
8-year-old who practically lives inside a barrel in the courtyard of a
community filled with loony but memorable characters.

In the way of telenovelas,
Tomorrow is Forever follows two
children who were raised together and, in spite of their class differences, are
joined by love. In the Name of Love is a period piece that highlights the values and traditions of old
provincial Mexico but is set in present day. The 150×1-hour A Blow to the
Heart
is the story of a
professional boxer who is torn between the love of a former champion racecar
driver and her boyfriend of 8 years, who is also her trainer. Also on offer is Oath
of Love
, a story that explores the
many facets and flavors of love, and the family musical Attraction x 4.
