Cake Bags Fresh TV Sequel

LONDON, September 15: Cake
Distribution has scored the worldwide distribution rights to Fresh TV’s Total
Drama Action, which is the sequel
to the animated reality series Total Drama Island.

Total Drama Action takes 15 of the original contestants to a new
location, a deserted film studio lot, where they will be exposed to new
challenges with the chance to win an even bigger prize. New to the concept will
be a number of talk-show episodes where former contestants and fans comment on
the competition. Total Drama Action
was created by Fresh TV’s Tom McGillis and Jennifer Pertsch and was
commissioned by TELETOON Canada. It is currently in production and will
premiere in the spring of 2009.

and can currently be seen on Cartoon Network U.S.
