90210 Gets Global Merchandising Campaign

NEW YORK, August 26: CBS
Consumer Products is launching a worldwide licensing program for the highly
anticipated spin-off of the hit ’90s drama Beverly Hills, 90210, which makes its broadcast debut in the U.S. on
The CW on September 2.

Initially, the line will
include apparel, cosmetics, fragrances, bags and school supplies for the U.S.,
featuring iconography from the new series along with retro designs from the
original. U.S. licensees include LF USA for juniors and girls sleepwear,
loungewear, underwear, t-shirts, fashion tops and fleece, that will be
distributed by the Giant, Briefly Stated and AME companies. FAB Starpoint will
introduce backpacks, bags and back-to-school stationery. Townley will offer a
line of licensed cosmetics, cosmetic accessories and nail products. Initial
U.S. products will be available in early 2009.

"90210 has quickly become one of the hottest television
properties around the world," said Liz Kalodner, the executive VP and general manager of CBS
Consumer Products. "The global merchandising program will capitalize on
the buzz surrounding the new series, delivering trend-right products to fans
who aspire to the 90210
lifestyle."
