TV-Loonland Inks Content Deal with KidsCo

CANNES, April 19:
TV-Loonland has reached a deal with KidsCo to supply a raft of titles to the
newly formed global channel—targeted at children and families—when
it initially rolls out later this year in Central and Eastern Europe.

TV-Loonland will provide
KidsCo with titles such as Clifford,
The Famous Jett Jackson, GI
Joe
and The Black Stallion. The channel will initially rollout in Central and
Eastern Europe, followed by premieres throughout 2008 and 2009 in approximately
40 territories across Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific.

KidsCo is a new 24/7
multi-platform channel committed to providing a responsible and entertaining
environment for children and families around the world. It is a strategic joint
venture between Sparrowhawk Media, DIC Entertainment and Corus Entertainment’s
Nelvana Enterprises.

head of international distribution and acquisitions at TV-Loonland commented:
