Peace Arch Completes New Global Licensing Deals

TORONTO, June 16: Peace
Arch Entertainment Group has concluded ten licensing agreements in eight
territories on 17 motion pictures and television series, including a broadcast
deal with GloboSat/Globo for five dramas.

The new licensing agreements
were inked with distributors in Germany, China, Australia, Italy, CIS
territories, Brazil, Spain and Latin America.

Among the deals closed by
Peace Arch are the romantic comedy The Deal going to Eurovideo for Germany and to Shanghai
Starnet (Shanghai Lumieres Culture & Communication Co.) for China. The
sports drama Goal 3 was picked
up by Roadshow Films for Australia, and all rights to the crime drama
mini-series Guns were closed
with Paco Pictures for Italy.

Additional deals concluded
by Peace Arch include a package of seven films to Videoconcept for the CIS
countries, comprised of the thriller Harm's Way; the horror film Bottom Feeder; the magical drama A Lobster Tale; the dramas Stranger Game, Troubled Waters and Just Business; and the zombie horror film The Mad.

Peace Arch also closed a
deal with GloboSat/Globo (Telecine Programacao de Filmes LTDA) for the
television rights to five dramas: All the Good Ones are Married, Luna: Spirit of the Whale, The Last Hit Man, Ace of Hearts and A Lobster Tale. In Spain, Art Mood has also bagged the television
rights to Ace of Hearts, and
TOT Media has picked up all the rights to the crime drama Animal 2 and the horror-thriller The Devil's Mercy. In Italy, Roma Movie has scored the television
rights to Ace of Hearts and Luna:
Spirit of the Whale
. Rounding out
the slate of new deals is WEtv acquiring the television rights to the
non-fiction series Bulging Brides
for Spain and Latin America.
