Latin Flower Unveils Roster for DISCOP

BUENOS AIRES, June 3: At DISCOP this month, The Latin Flower Company will present
buyers with a diverse slate of titles from its catalogue, from the new
teen-skewing format The Queen of the Song
(La Reina de la Canción) to comedies
like My Beloved Housekeeper (Amo de
Casa
).

In addition to
The Queen of the Song
(La Reina de la Canción) from Pampa Films, another teen-targeted program, High
Mountain
, will be available. Both are now in the
preproduction stage.

Latin Flower’s
comedy slate includes My Beloved Housekeeper (Amo de Casa) from Underground, The Baby Sister (La Baby Sister) from Invento Colombia and The
Black Sheep
(La
Oveja Negra
) from
Teledoce Uruguay. The Black Sheep was written by Esther Feldman, who was also part of the team of
writers involved in Dori Media Group’s telenovela Lalola.

Additionally,
multiplatform content will be presented to buyers at the market, including Dragolym from Kot Producciones, featuring
three-minute capsules based on the upcoming Beijing Olympics 2008, as well as Topo
Gigio
from Carlos
Gallego, a 3-D animated football-themed program focused on the World Cup.

Other football
programming in Latin Flower’s lineup includes the six-episode Boca, A True
Love Story
(Boca,
Una Historia de Amor
)
from Bubby Producciones, the only official biography authorized by the Boca
Juniors Football Club, presented by Dalma Maradona.

In addition,
Latin Flower will attend the market with a new sales executive, Nora Seoane.
Seoane, who will be in charge of business deals for Europe, previously led
acquisitions for Argentina’s Channel 9 for many years and was also responsible
for managing the programming department at Channel 10 (Montecarlo) in Uruguay.

Latin Flower’s
catalogue is also boosted by alliances forged this year with format distributor
Distraction and Invento, the joint
venture between Teleset and FremantleMedia.
