Disney’s Brehm Joins Warner Bros.

BURBANK, May 9: Warner
Bros. International Television Distribution (WBITD) has named Jim Brehm to the
post of senior VP of sales for Canada, Latin America and Asia.

In his new position at
WBITD, based in Burbank, California, Brehm will be responsible for the
licensing of all Warner Bros.’ series, motion pictures and animation to pay-
and free-TV in Canada, the Asia Pacific and Latin America, as well as to basic
subscription, ad-supported and subscription video-on-demand (AVOD and SVOD)
services in those regions. He will report to Jeffrey R. Schlesinger, the
president of Warner Bros. International Television. Brehm succeeds Malcolm
Dudley-Smith, who was recently named to the newly created post of executive VP
of branded services—business management at WBITD.

Brehm joins WBITD from The
Walt Disney Company, where he spent the last two years as the senior VP of
sales for Disney-ABC International Television (DAIT). In that role, he had
oversight of pay, free and on-demand licensing for Europe, the Middle East and
Africa. Prior to DAIT, Brehm worked at Paramount for 17 years, most recently as
the executive VP of international television at Paramount Pictures Worldwide TV
Distribution.
