Endemol Reshuffles Senior Management

LONDON, February 29: Endemol
UK has named Tim Hincks as chief executive, Lucas Church as COO and Richard
Johnston as chief financial officer.

For the past five years,
Hincks has overseen all of the U.K. group’s output, first as creative director,
and then as chief creative officer in 2005. During this time, he guided Endemol
UK through a period of diversification into new genres like comedy, game shows,
specialist factual and scripted series, and onto new platforms such as online and
mobile. In his new role as chief executive, Hincks continues to oversee the
creative direction of the U.K. group. He is also a member of Endemol Group’s
International Committee. In addition to his role at Endemol, Hincks is the
executive chair of the Edinburgh International Television Festival.

Prior to his new
appointment as COO, Church was joint managing director of Endemol UK since
2005. He has held a range of senior positions in the company, including head of
legal and business affairs and commercial director.

Before his new role as chief
financial officer, Johnston also served as joint managing director since 2005.
His previous roles at the company include finance director and head of business
development.

Aat Schouwenaar, the CEO
of Endemol Group, commented: “Since Tim, Lucas and Richard took charge of the
U.K. group at the beginning of 2005 it has undergone a period of around
40-percent average year-on-year growth. Today’s announcement recognizes the key
roles they have all played in making this happen and paves the way for them to
continue the success story under Endemol’s new ownership.”

Endemol UK annually
produces more than 6,000 hours of output. Credits include BBC One’s latest
talent show The One and Only,
