Nat Geo Asia to Launch Youth-Skewing Block

HONG KONG, January 30:
National Geographic Channel Asia will roll out a 2×1-hour daily block aimed at
young viewers, called Nat Geo Junior, beginning February 4.

Nat Geo Junior will air twice every weekday for one hour, from
10-11 a.m. and 5-6 p.m. on the Hong Kong and ASEAN regional satellite feed. It
will reach more than 6 million households with viewers aged 7 to 16, across key
markets such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the
Philippines and other ASEAN countries. Nat Geo Junior is already available in India, Turkey and the
Netherlands, and was created to inspire young viewers to explore the modern
world, beyond the classroom, through educational and engaging documentary
programs.

David Gunson, the senior
VP of programming and broadcasting at National Geographic Channel Asia, said,
