Lightworks Enterprises Launches New Motion Pictures Unit

NEW YORK, December 3: Lightworks Enterprises has formed
Lightworks Pictures, a new motion picture division that will develop and
produce made-for-television and independent theatrical films, focusing on
topics such as human relations, social justice and understanding among people.

Lightworks Pictures will be headed by William Spencer Reilly
as president and CEO, and Maura Dunbar as executive VP. It plans to develop a
slate of seven films in 2008, including projects being scripted by Scott
Abbott, Joe Cacaci, Lucky Gold and Donald Martin. The first film produced under
the Lightworks Pictures banner is The Note,
which will premiere on Hallmark Channel on Saturday, December 8. Directed by
Doug Barr and executive produced by Joel Rice, the movie stars Genie Francis
and Ted McGinley. The Note is
owned jointly by Crown Media, owner and operator of Hallmark Channel, and Faith
& Values Media.

"Lightworks Pictures is a natural extension of
Lightworks Enterprises," said David Dreilinger, the president and CEO of
Lightworks Enterprises, "and we are pleased to spearhead this latest
initiative of LEI's parent, Faith & Values Media. We see an opportunity to
help fund the development of significant motion pictures, which will have broad
commercial appeal."
