V-me Launches on DIRECTV

NEW YORK/EL SEGUNDO,
November 14: Beginning today, the Hispanic network V-me is now available on
DIRECTV’s basic and Spanish channel services in the U.S.

Carriage on DIRECTV adds
11 million homes to V-me’s distribution. V-me now reaches more than 36 million
homes in the U.S.

V-me’s blend of
entertainment, public affairs and educational content in Spanish will be
available at no additional charge to DIRECTV and DIRECTV Más customers.

V-me is developed by the
Educational Broadcasting Corporation, the parent company of pubcasters
Thirteen/WNET and WLIW New York. The network organizes its content into four
areas: V-me Kids, a pre-school
lineup with over 35 hours per week of educational content; V-me Lifestyle, filled with informative content in health,
parenting, nutrition, travel and more; V-me Factual & Current Affairs, with documentaries, news and talk shows; and V-me
Movies & Specials
, featuring
Latin cinema.
