Production Begins on New 9 Story Properties

TORONTO, March 13: The Canadian animation outfit 9 Story
Entertainment has begun production on two new kids’ properties: Best Ed and Futz!

The 52×11-minute Best Ed
is a 2-D series about a helpful dog named Ed and his squirrel pal Buddy. It is
an original production for Teletoon in Canada and Cartoon Network U.K. and is
being distributed by 9 Story Entertainment's newly formed distribution
division. The company has secured pre-sales on the property with Cartoon
Network Europe and the Middle East. Delivery is set for early 2008.

The 26×3-minute Futz!
for Teletoon in Canada is a 2-D non-verbal show about the adventures of an
odd-looking character who gets himself into an array of absurd situations. The
show is due to be completed in September and will be distributed by 9 Story.
