Berman, Lloyd in NBC Deal

NEW YORK, March 6: BermanBraun, the venture set up by Gail
Berman and Lloyd Braun, has clinched a first-look deal with NBC Universal.

Berman left her job as the president of entertainment at
FOX in March 2005 to become president of Paramount Pictures, a post she left
this January after just 18 months at the studio. Braun was forced out as the
chairman of the ABC Entertainment Group in 2004 as part of management overhaul
at the network. He subsequently joined Yahoo! to head up the online company’s
media and entertainment group. Braun left Yahoo! at the end of last year. The
pair established BermanBraun in January.

Marc Graboff, the president of NBC Universal Television,
West Coast, commented: "Not only do Lloyd and Gail have phenomenal track
records developing shows like Lost, American
Idol
, Grey's Anatomy, House and
Desperate Housewives, but they
are both experienced broadcast network programmers who understand what it takes
to develop great content. With their great taste and their valuable experience,
we are thrilled that they have chosen NBC Universal as their television home."

BermanBraun will develop and produce scripted and
unscripted programming for prime time, daytime, cable and syndication, with a
first-look to all NBC Universal Television entities including NBC, USA, SCI FI,
Telemundo and Bravo.
