Big Tent Names Toy Partner for The Saddle Club

NEW YORK, February 1: Big Tent Entertainment has appointed
Breyer Animal Creations as the master toy partner for the girl-skewing tween
series The Saddle Club.

The series stars three young heroines—Stevie, Carole
and Lisa—and their horses. During each half-hour episode The Saddle
Club
emphasizes relationships as the girls
meet the challenges of riding, caring for their horses, school, home and
growing up. Based on the books by Bonnie Bryant, the show airs in the U.S. on
Discovery Kids. Production will soon begin on a new season of the
Australian-Canadian co-production.

Breyer, a division of Reeves International, is a
manufacturer and marketer of authentic model horses and accessories. For
Breyer, the The Saddle Club deal marks
its first partnership on an episodic television series. The company plans to
create and market a wide range of products based on the TV series characters,
horses and story lines, including model horses, play sets and craft activity
sets.

Big Tent Entertainment is also building a comprehensive
licensing and marketing program for The Saddle Club, establishing relationships with core products to
promote equestrian lifestyles for tweens, including fashion apparel and
accessories, stationery and additional arts and crafts.
