BET Networks Promotes Scott Mills to Head of Digital Media Unit

WASHINGTON, January 24: Scott
Mills has been promoted to president of BET Networks’ newly formed digital
media group.

Mills, who retains his position
as CFO of BET Networks, will lead the company's portfolio of digital brands and
oversee the continued development and implementation of the company's digital
strategy. BET’s digital assets currently include BET.com, BET on Blast, BET on
Demand, BET mobile and BET’s digital video download offering, with others in
development.

As CFO of BET Networks since
2003, Mills played an instrumental role in developing BET’s digital content. He
led the creation of BET mobile, launched BET’s digital video download offering
on iTunes, and expanded BET’s VOD product.

Since joining the company in
1997, Mills has also served in a variety of positions within BET Networks
including executive VP and COO of BET Interactive, and senior VP for business
strategy and development. As COO of BET Interactive, he oversaw the launch of
BET.com.
