YES Files Time Warner Cable Suit

NEW YORK, December 21: The baseball network YES, which
broadcasts New York Yankees games, has filed suit against Time Warner Cable,
wire reports indicate, alleging that it has been underpaid in license fees.

The Yankees Entertainment Sports Network (YES) filed a
breach of contract lawsuit yesterday, Reuters reports, alleging that it is owed
more than $1.5 million from the cable platform. YES says Time Warner Cable
"miscalculated the licensing fees due YES under an affiliation
agreement." In addition to the $1.5 million in unpaid fees, YES is seeking
compensatory damages.
