VMC to Launch DVB-H Mobile TV Service in Vietnam

ESPOO/HO CHI MINH CITY, September 11: Nokia and Vietnam
Multimedia Corporation (VTC) will launch a commercial mobile broadcast TV
service based on DVB-H technology in two key Vietnamese cities by the end of
this year.

This is Nokia's first commercial mobile TV service roll out
in the Asia Pacific, and is one of the company’s first commercial rollouts
worldwide. Nokia is currently working on trials in other markets in Asia, as
well as in Europe and North America.

VTC, Vietnam's leading national broadcaster, will make
available the mobile TV services to subscribers initially in Hanoi and Ho Chi
Minh City. VTC aims to take the serve nationally within two years.

Customers will have access to seven digital TV channels as
well as a video-on-demand service from a catalog of selected titles offered by
VTC. The service is available on Nokia's Nseries DVB-H enabled multimedia
devices, delivered by the Nokia N92.
