Televisa Launches New Sitcom

MEXICO CITY, August 14: The new Televisa sitcom My
Darling (Amor Mio) launches tonight at 8 p.m. on Mexico's El Canal de
las Estrellas.

The 160×30-minute show stars Vanessa Guzman and Raul Araiza
as a stepbrother and stepsister sharing an apartment they inherited from their
parents. It will be a key offering on Televisa’ MIPCOM slate, complementing new
telenovelas that will be screened at the Telenovelas Screenings 2006 on October
7 and 8.

The new titles include Love and Cruelty (Mundo de Fieras), a tale of a man who tries to destroy the life of his twin; The
Two Sides of Ana (Las Dos Caras
de Ana), about a woman who swears revenge
on the brothers who brought about the death of her relatives; and I
Love Irresistible Juan (Yo Amo a
Juan Querendón), the story of a ladies man
who meets the love of his life—who happens to be in love with another
man.
