Banijay in Talks to Merge with All3Media

Banijay has confirmed that it is in talks to combine its Entertainment & Live unit, which owns MasterChef, with All3Media’s TV production businesses, which produce The Traitors.

Banijay confirmed on Tuesday that it had “entered into discussions with the All3Media owner regarding a potential combination between Banijay and All3Media.” A merger between the two would result in a slate of shows that includes Survivor, Peaky Blinders and Race Across the World.

A potential deal could include All3Media and owner Redbird IMI putting funds into the combined entity.

According to reports, talks began toward the end of last year after Banijay dropped its pursuit of ITV Studios.

The combined entity would have around €5.7 billion in revenue, based on 2024 numbers.
