L.A. Screenings Spotlight: FOX

LOS ANGELES: The first season of Wayward Pines, which starred Matt Dillon, proved to be a success for FOX, and there’s a second season coming soon, which the company is presenting at the L.A. Screenings.

“We are thrilled that it comes back to our screens with some of the season one cast and the added bonus of Jason Patric and Djimon Hounsou,” says Prentiss Fraser, the company’s senior VP, global head of content sales. FOX will also be showcasing the new series Outcast, which comes from Robert Kirkman, the creator of The Walking Dead.

In regard to factual, there’s The Story of God with Morgan Freeman, which delivered strong ratings for National Geographic Channel. “We are incredibly proud of this series and feel confident that with talent such as Morgan Freeman it can bring an equally successful story to our buyers,” says Fraser.

She continues: “Our new program catalogue contains incredibly strong brands with international appeal across all genres and in multiple languages.”
