Jan Koeppen Named President of FIC Europe & Africa

LOS ANGELES: Jan Koeppen, who has been serving as COO of 21st Century Fox for Europe and Asia, is taking on the role of president for FOX International Channels (FIC) for Europe and Africa.

Koeppen takes up the new post in April. He will be based in London and assumes responsibility for the 94 TV and online services in FIC's portfolio across Europe and Africa, with a footprint in 88 countries. Koeppen has been with 21st Century Fox as COO for Europe and Asia for the last five years. Prior to this he held a variety of positions with The Boston Consulting Group.

“It is a time of great opportunity in our business and we are excited to have someone of Jan’s insight and experience join FIC’s global leadership team,” said Hernan Lopez, the president and CEO of FOX International Channels (to whom Koeppen will report). “Jan has created enormous value for multiple divisions of 21st Century Fox and I am looking forward to having him run our Europe and Africa business.”
