High TV 3D Expands Footprint

SINGAPORE: The satellite operator SES has signed a capacity agreement with the worldwide 3D general-entertainment channel High TV 3D for capacity on the Astra position at 23.5 degrees East.

The 3D programming on High TV 3D includes entertainment news, travel programs, drama, comedy, fitness and movies as well as in-house productions such as reality shows. The channel will broadcast 400 hours in native 3D in its first year, with more than 500 hours of 3D content planned for each year to come. The Astra position 23.5 degrees East is home to a number of international 3D channels, including Brava 3D, Penthouse 3D and the Astra 3D demo channel.
