The Kitchen Promotes Exec

MIAMI: James Keller has been appointed to the role of director of the English-language team at The Kitchen, the Emmy Award-winning language translation, dubbing and subtitling services facility.

Keller has been with The Kitchen since 2001 as its first English-language director. Keller plans to increase the English-language audition talent pool, developing new processes for auditions. He will also initiate dubbing workshops to train new talent. The Kitchen has offices in Miami, Los Angeles and Caracas, with affiliates worldwide.

"He is a man of many voices, understands the business and has a wonderful way of getting the most out of his talent,” said Ken Lorber, the president and CEO of The Kitchen. "The Kitchen is the best dubbing company in the market and I want to raise the bar even further. I’ve been working with some of our actors for a very long time, and together we’ve created some of the most memorable moments in The Kitchen’s dubbing history…for telenovelas, live-action series, sports, documentaries, anime, animation and on and on."
