PARIS: Moonscoop is merging its international TV sales, consumer products and ancillary rights businesses under the management of Lionel Marty.

The move comes in the wake of the departure of global consumer products chief Cynthia Money. The new single division under Marty—who previously solely handled global distribution—will handle all rights exploitation across TV, consumer products, VOD, online and interactive.

David di Lorenzo now heads up licensing, home entertainment, VOD and new media for North and Latin America, based in Los Angeles. Brigitte Legendre-Benloulou, from the Paris office, will oversee Moonscoop’s Western European licensing operations, working with Sebastien Fillion. All three executives report to Marty.

Marty’s team also includes Grace Lee, who manages TV and home entertainment sales and oversees licensing and merchandising agents in Asia, and Marie Conge, who handles those businesses in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and Africa, plus television sales in Latin America.

“The needs of our broadcasters are changing and reorganizing our rights divisions and combining them in a single department is a natural next step to reflect the increasingly 360-degree nature of the global kids’ entertainment business," said Marty. "By merging our multiplatform initiatives we can streamline our activity and help create even more synergy between broadcast, merchandising and ancillary areas for our partners around the world.”
