LOS ANGELES: Bunim/Murray Productions has extended its contract with executive VP Scott Freeman, while also promoting two development executives: Erin Cristall and Rachel Speiser.

Freeman leads the development team at Bunim/Murray, a Banijay company. He has been with Bunim/Murray for more than a decade. As executive producer, Freeman oversees The Real World/Road Rules Challenge (MTV) and Saddle Ranch (VH1). He reports to Gil Goldschein, the president of Bunim/Murray Productions, and Jonathan Murray, the chairman.

Cristall is being promoted from VP to senior VP of development. During her time at the company, Cristall has led the development for Love Games, Flo Gets Married and Best Ink. Speiser is being upped from director to VP of development. She has helmed development on a number of new series, along with playing a key role in the company’s ventures into scripted programming. Both Cristall and Speiser report to Freeman.

“Scott Freeman, Rachel Speiser and Erin Cristall have all been essential to the development of Bunim/Murray’s successful and growing slate of reality programs over the past couple of years and have helped expand our network relationships,” said Goldschein. “The team’s fresh and innovative ideas continue to drive our reality formats and pave the way as Bunim/Murray ventures into scripted fare.”
