Shankly Sells Car Makeover Series

WEST HOLLYWOOD: The car makeover series Fine Tuned is headed to more than 30 countries via new deals notched up by Shankley International Distribution.

Discovery signed a pan-Asian deal to bring the 6×52-minute series to Asia, Australia, New Zealand and India. Planete (Canal Plus) bought the show for France, while Ananey Communications is bringing it to Israel. The African Business Channel in South Africa is also on board.

The series, hosted by actor and runway model Tyson Beckford, originally debuted on Speed Channel in the U.S. The automotive makeover show watches as seven days are given to transform ordinary stock cars into high-tech, one-of-a-kind show vehicles.
