Globo Expands Mideast Presence

SÃO PAULO: Among the TV Globo productions that are currently on air across the Middle East is India: A Love Story, which has been picked up by MBC.

MBC airs India: A Love Story via satellite and free TV to more than 22 countries across Arab Africa and the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt and Syria.

Globo TV International has also sold eight titles to PMC Family, part of the Kiamax umbrella. During the next three years, Pages of Life, The Profit, Celebridades, Seven Sins, Forbidden Desire, The Favorite and Maysa: When the Heart Sings will be dubbed into Farsi for broadcast on PMC Family.

Also in the region, 2M of Morocco is airing Her Own Destiny, while Nessma of Tunisia airs The Clone.

Globo is currently attending My Content in Dubai as well, looking to expand its Mideast presence even further.
